Since 2008, Spanish artists Alicia Herrero (Performing Arts) and María Ángeles Vila (Visual Arts) have developed a bold and suggestive collaborative work, between Spain and Italy. Their artistic research includes dance productions, performances, art exhibitions, cultural events, community art, and a wider range of educational workshops.
Their projects have been presented at the Instituto Cervantes (Rome, Sofia, and Budapest), Galeria Tossal in Valencia, L’ Escorxador – Centre for Contemporary Culture in Elche, International Mime Festival-Sueca, Casa Museo Mario Praz in Rome, L'Hipogeo Motta de Matera, AlbumArte and Museo Carlo Bilotti in Rome, Ric-Festival di Rieti, Santa Joanna Museum in Aveiro, Museo Macro Mattatoio in Rome and BNL Tennis International in Rome.
Their artistic work has been supported by Regione Lazio, Teatres de la Generalitat Valenciana, Real Academia de España in Rome, and Embajada de España among others.
